Offshore Hunter Fishing Charters is the premier deep sea fishing boat in SWFL. The "Offshore Hunter" is a custom built 36' Yellowfin center console rigged for hardcore fishing. We can run at speeds up to 50 mph to get you out to the fishing grounds! Meaning we can go further and where no other charter boat will take you.

We go the extra mile to put you on the fish you want to catch, grouper, snapper, amberjacks, and sharks!

Offshore Hunter Fishing Charter Captains Veiko Kreis and Chris Kreis are 3rd and 4th generation Captains. They have the local Offshore Fishing knowledge and expertise for putting you on the fish in South West Florida. They are true hardcore Deep Sea Fishing anglers and their passion for the sport is what excels them at this.

 

Captain Veiko Kreis

Capt. Veiko is a Licensed USCG Captain, he moved to the United States from Estonia in 1993. He is a 3rd generation captain, with his son Chris following in his foot steps. Ever since moving to Florida, fishing has been his passion and the joy to bring clients catching their fish of a lifetime.

Captain Chris Kreis

Capt. Chris is a born native to South West Florida. He holds his 50 ton USCG license, and is a 4th generation captain. Fishing his whole life in the backyard of Fort Myers, he has amassed the knowledge to ensure a great day on the water.

Boat

 

The Offshore Hunter is a custom built 36’ Yellowfin Center Console fishing boat powered by Triple Yamaha 350HP engines. Without a doubt Yellowfin is one of the industry leaders in producing fishing boats, it has a flat deck which gives a full 360* unobstructed place to fish. The boat has been outfitted with the top of the line electronics from Garmin and Furuno 12” displays. There is a large t-top to protect you from the harsh Florida sun as well.

  The Inshore Hunter is a Pathfinder 2500 Hybrid. Designed to be a comfortable ride for both inshore and nearshore trips. Powered by a 300 horsepower Yamaha, a fasts cruise gets us to the fishing spots faster! Equipped with seating all around, it can get you to the fishing spots or the beautiful beaches of Cayo Costa.

What we Provide

There is a large Yeti cooler loaded with ice on board for all your food and drinks for your day on the water. All tackle, and fishing rods are included. We use top of the line equipment from Shimano and Accurate. There is a porta potty inside our console for the ladies and children. Fishing licenses are included for your trip.

Safety Equipment

We have gone above and beyond the recommended safety gear the USCG suggests. On board are ample lifejackets for children and adults, EPIRB, Satellite Phone, and a Life raft with up to date certification from the Manufacturer.

Forbidden Items

We have a strict no glass policy on the vessel. Glass can break and we only allow aluminum cans or bottles aboard. No illegal substances. Spray sunscreen is also not allowed, it can turn the deck slippery will discolor the boat as well. Most devices now days have GPS units built into them, Cell phones, Gopros, some digital cameras. You may bring some devices onboard, they must be cleared by the Captain and Crew. Cell phones need to be turned off, there is no signal beyond 15 miles offshore thats why we have a Satellite phone incase there is an emergency.

Charter Rates

Types of Trips Offered

8 Hour Offshore: This trip is suited for anglers looking to venture out to 50 miles offshore. There we can find larger species like amberjacks, barracudas, goliath groupers, sharks, snapper, and other grouper species. On these trips we can split the day between catching giant memorable and photo worthy goliath groupers and sharks! For the second half, targeting snappers and grouper to take home for dinner.

10 Hour Offshore: For the more dedicated anglers looking to put a few more fish in the box, just like the 8 hour trip we can split the day between large fun fighting fish and some to throw in the cooler for dinner.

American Red Snapper Trip: This trip is suited for the serious hardcore anglers. We venture out to 90 miles from shore looking for red snapper. With this distance we can encounter a variety of grouper species including gag, scamp, and occasionally black groupers.

Gratuity of 20% is not included. We accept cash or credit cards. Credit Card Payments are subject to a 4% convenience fee. Deposit: $200 deposit is required at the time of reservation for your charter. Inshore trips require a $100 deposit.

Offshore Rates above cover up to 6 anglers for Offshore trips.

Inshore Rates cover 4 passengers, each additional passenger up to 6 is $50 extra.

WE HAVE A ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY ON CELL PHONES, CAMERAS, AND OTHER GPS EQUIPPED DEVICES. If we find you using a GPS device on board, your trip will be terminated and payment will be required in full at the dock.

PLEASE ABSOLUTELY NO SPRAY SUNSCREEN ABOARD THE VESSEL. SELF APPLICATION ONLY. 

Cancelation Policy:

If reservations are canceled 7 days prior to the trip, the deposit WILL NOT be refunded.

In the case of severe or inclement weather, the Captain will deicide to either postpone or cancel a trip. In the event the trip is canceled, you may reschedule your trip or receive your deposit back in full.

By placing a deposit to secure your fishing day, you have read and understood our cancelation policy.
